As a busy, full-time working professional, I know how it feels to multitask, be pulled in a million directions and still feel like there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish what I want and still need to do.
Over the years I have learned and implemented habits and routines that allow me to lead a busy life which includes working out of the home 40+ hours a week, and still make time for other priorities in my life like my number one priority: my overall wellness. From planning healthful, quick, and delicious recipes to moving my body daily, making time for other areas I call lifestyle wellness, and giving myself a little grace along the way, I have learned it is all possible. My goal is to provide you with the strategies and tools to develop the habits and routines necessary to optimize your wellness. I believe everyone can achieve wellness in their lives on a daily basis. Everyone. Everyday.
In addition to living a demanding lifestyle, which started as a student-athlete in college, I have been a registered dietitian for almost a decade now. Therefore, I am bringing to this blog and you, not only my lived experience, but also my expertise in food, nutrition and behavior change.
I am incredibly passionate about living a healthful lifestyle and helping others optimize their level of wellness, so they can do the same.
With the right tools and a positive mindset, my hope is that you will be able to see each day and moment as an opportunity to be intentional about your wellness, start again if you feel discouraged, set a goal, celebrate successes and learn from challenges as to what works and doesn’t work for you and your lifestyle.
